Hello, everyone i recently swapped my 350 chev with a built 454 big block, in my 1982 cutlass supreme. dynoed at 520hp, it has cast heads very well ported and machined. But im looking to upgrade to aluminum heads for a better look, weight loss, and a little more hp and flow. I am wondering what heads to buy i have heard well about the edelbrock. Have also heard well about the brodix heads a shop called rolling thunderz offered me them machined with a new street solid cam and lifter set up but i dont need quite that hp as i well not be dragging the car often and it already has 520 hp and 575 ft. lbs tq. what would any of you consider for the proper aluminum head??? thanks

I recommend asking in the engine/motor forum

Just stay away from the pro comp/pro star heads, they are cheap, [and i don't mean inexpensive] and are made in China.
So be careful, you get what you pay for.

I would get a name brand head (Dart, AFR, Brodix, Edelbrock, etc) and would probably stick with an oval port with 270-290cc they will make good power on your size engine and make plenty of torque to move your street car around.
