This is the eng i got. Red Leads & Blue cap. I think it looks killer! (Not at all stock) It's been built internally. I think 0.20 over. can't remember. everything new inside.

If u got any spare carbs I need one the one on it now is a Holley 750 and Wayyyy to big. Idk what the guy was thinking. Looking for Rochester or Edelbrock 500 Cfm max... Will even up.
lol why is there a 750 on it
anyway, any rochester that would be even close to being correct for it would be the computer controlled unit off of a 4.1 v6, or a turbo (rare and expensive) 3.8 quadrajet. tbh a stock intake and a non computer dual jet (they look like the front of a quadrajet) is your best bet. anything bigger is wasting fuel and money.

however, if you put some aluminum heads on it, a cam, some compression and headers, a 500cfm would be plenty, could even possibly get away with a 650 vac. sec. holley.

Interesting. To your last comment, Tmk on the Eng has already been gone through I wanna get it into the car & everything hooked up first supposedly this cam in it https://www.edelbrock.com/performer-plus-camshaft-kit-for-buick-231-252-v6-even-fire-5487.html Headers is a No-Go though. I have a that Spare V6 I will do a custom build on tho. Bcuz the guy i bought this eng from said he might wanna put a 3.8 back in so it'll work out.

Tryin to keep it a Stock sleeper look like Low-Key Ya feel. I'm torn although I prefer Holley vs Edelbrock but Either way I have to do something about that 750. I have a 600 from Spare eng i may slap on it.

On the spare eng, It's not one of those *Great* 85-87 blocks but for me, it'll be fun enuff to Get my greasy hands into, learn how to work on these 3.8s and have a fun little build while I'm at it. Headers are a GO! On this one but man... They are so Expensive!!! Hedman's are the cheapest I can find but also "Era-Correct" personally if i can find an Older used chrome set I'll buy for sure!!! otherwise these. https://www.jegs.com/i/Hedman/500/68410/10002/-1

I initially thought maybe do a Stage II build, but then i heard you can't really do it w/o the matching set of Cyl Heads & Intake Manifold... So i thought instead let's just do a Grimy Old school back garage Mid-Range Budget build. So I've tracked down a Discontinued Holley Street Dominator Intake, *My one now has an Edelbrock Performer intake* I'll more than likely use their Cam & Rollers as well, not sure on Crank or any other specifics YET... Dropdown some comments on that w/ your Knowledge of wisdom you have 😉

The factory 3.8 non CCC Dualjet would be a good starting point on a mild 3.8 or 4.1, maybe up one jet size and play with the APT. If my 260 was in better shape and I kept my SP2P intake. I was going to copy the non CCC Dualjet primary side into a Qjet and play with the APT to max mileage with a bit more punch having the secondary side. I wonder if there was a non CCC Canadian 4.1 carb. My 83 non CCC 307 carb is super lean at idle and part throttle, even if the 4.1 non CCC carb does exist it would be too lean.

If you want it to look stock, the distributor cap and rotor should be black.

I did not know that. Thanks! But I'll keep the one that's on it is it's all-new.
I've got all receipts from the guy who i bought it from, He bought everything new earlier this year (January or so) for this eng from Summit.

This is some interesting stuff, I had thought of keeping it with the stock 3.8 Carb but was unaware that people *Actually* Tuned them for Performance since majority told me they went to 4bbl. Any websites you know of that offer this for the M2ME Carbs?
