I hope you got the rear control arm spacers when you took the rear sway bar out. Also, if the GP had the crossbar up front...I hope you got that too. Good score on the sway bars,
Looking good so far. When you put the later style mirrors on, did you get the El Camino mounting gaskets for them?
Looks like you went on a bling binge... :lol:

Yea i got the spacer with the two holes where the bolts go through rear control arms...and the mirrors are SS mirrors and have the SS gaskets...cant wait 🙂

So found me a really good set of 79 tail lights and extentions..lights are super clean no cracks nice color no fading, but the driver left tail light extention is missing the top mounting screw..its broke off...and its bugging me...so would like to trade my 78 extentions which are hard to find for a nice set of 79 malibu extention with no cracks or missing mounting screws?? Let me know..

Ok so once i get these 79 tail light extentions. i think im going to take the bu to the body shop already..she will be complete, mirrors are done, all molding are off on the sides, i think im going to paint the front and back window trims and window driprails the same color of car..saves me cash on not getting them polished. i think it should look good..once shes back i can start getting the weatherstrip and go from there.....got some cash save for sons bday, so i need to jump on this paint before all my monies is gone 🙁

ok so i found the 78 grille brand new for $78 bucks, not bad...



But know i cant find the light bezels..well i seen some on ebay for like $90 ea...im not pay that per each headlight bezel...those peeps are krazy!!



Does the 80 or 81 fit it...? i know it goes all the way around and the 78 is one piece with the chrome piece going around the side signal light...

Man you came out good at pomona! I was there from 730-10 and thats how long it took me to walk down all the dam ailse by the time i was done i couldnt feel my feet I didnt even scope out all the cars. I just found some floor mats and the tailgate trim for the elco, I was lookin for a battery guy but there was no one there...Did you decide the color you going to paint it already?
