Today in the morning before work, i stopped by the body shop to talk to the owner/buddy of mine to see what he was going to charge me for the malibu's paint and body work. We choose a metalic dealership gray out of an aston martin paint book he had...so he's going to charge me what i paid for project elko..$1600.00 and thats a steal...!!! He looked slow and didnt have much cars in there...so i really need to find this hood and get this trunk popper in...he will put a piece of metal to shave the trunk key hole...we left on good terms and hes ready when i am...all excited!!! :lol:

thats sweeet bro man that trunk popper is easy to install wish i had an extra to do a quick vid on it

Yea a real good price...i didnt ask...dont like to rush them...want the primer to dry correctly and want to make sure all lines are stright...plus my sons by day is next month and dont want it in the drive way with all these peeps walking in and out rubbing all over her...lol...planinng on taking it the first no later than the second week of Feb,.

So came up on a Hood today in the morning for $50.00 its super stright, no rust,no ding or dents, no waves, so i will put on this weekend, and try this trunk popper, but the rear lights back on and maybe monday get her to the shop...stay posted..

Lil update..so i got the hood on by myself since wifeys sick..was a misson but got it to line up super clean...ohhh and got my ac delete plate in the mail today ..Skip hooked me up with it..thanks skip ur the best!! 80z crew we look out for each other..thats whats up!!..sry for the bad pic but the other side has plastic and thats the good side...need to remove the window trim and door trim so i can send them to get powder coated black and get this trunk popper in this weekend and hopefully send her to paint monday morning...
