i wanna trunk popper!...wait..i have an elky...
it does give me an idea tho.. what if you could find some pnumatic cylinders like for the rear glass on some suvs and some how rigged the trunk popper inside the tail gate to pop it open and shave the handle on the inside. and if ya had a hard tonneau cover with some pnumatic cylinders on that, you could make a catch on the tailgate that would hold the tonneau down untill it got popped and then the tailgate and the tonneau cover would open up at the same time. that would be awesome. now i have to draw it... :hijack:

  try it?
i need a shop, but ill just draw it in ms paint instead:

Call Mel so he can guide me though things and he told me about all the ground makers...i grounded everything right and also got a new positive battery cable with the little wire that comes with it so that wire goes directly to the alternator...there was
A wire but i think the car was a V6 before and didnt need it coming from the firewall..after fixing all the wires my interior lights came on, and thy never turned on before...so i guess i fixed something right...lmao..tha mally turns on better, before u u could here that the starter was not getting good conection....

Wont know till tomorrow morning when i go to start it...if the batterys dead again im going to :blam: I HATE ELECTRICAL WORK....skip thanks for the diagram but this wire stuff is draining me...

in the words of adam savage: "well there's yer problem..."

So after 3 hrs of doing that wire work...i went to ck it out at 10:30p And battery dead!!! :wtf:

Whats going on guys...do i need to call a electrician??? Something is not charging the battery or something is on and idk know about it..i thought it was the interior lights but got that fixed...i cant get it to stay charged and this is a big delay for getting it painted...

Man i thought i takled everthing down!! Know what??

did you have the battery connected while you were working? it might of got drained if you left any doors open

heres something you can try, with the key off and doors closed unhook your ground cable and tap it on the battery if you see a spark (you can see it easier at night), something is pulling power. next you need to find out what is pulling it, so pull out one fuse at a time from the fuse box and try again if it does it than that circuit is not the problem keep doing it until you take out a fuse and it doesnt spark anymore. Then you know what things to look at, tell us what fuse it is and we can tell you where to look.

I seee what ur saying...so no spark u want me to tell u what it is...HELP!!!!

Went back outside and lights turn on but low...sounds like starter to me...could it be starter??

When I was at Superior Battery auto parts yesterday getting another battery, The owner of the body shop came in and we started talking, since the body shop is right in front of it, he told me to just bring the Mally, he has a electrican that works there with him at the shop to takle down there electrical problems when cars come in, im sure he will find the problem, and they can also start the body work on the mally...kill two brids with one stone..

Tomorrow i will install the trunk spoiler, mess with some fiberglass and move forward...stay tuned guys
