use the dvd! it even has all the torque specs you need and the sequence you need to follow for the manifold in one of the menus.(very important, you dont want to crack it, or have water going into our oil) make sure you have a torque wrench

make sure you clean where the gaskets go real good and use RTV instead of the little rubber gaskets for the front and back of the block (shows you on the dvd)

also take the cap off the distributor first before you remove it and see where the rotor is pointing and mark it so when you put the new one in you can be close to were the old one was so your timing is not all messed up

Thanks Rich, all on top of it torque spec 25-30 ft lbs intake bolts , cross pattern when putting intake bolts, got the firing order pattern and intake bolt pattern..good looking on the rtv front and rear, RTV is the silcone sealant right? So dont use da gasket with the RTV?,Can i use the rtv for the hole intake, or just the front and rear,? Mel told me about another one that he uses and recommended highly, was just going to get the felpro kit from autozone. I will ask when there..picking up torque wrench from my bro in law tomorrow...thanks for the info..

follow this order, first all the bolts to 10ft/lb then again 20ft/lb then lastly 30ft/lb

buy the felpro intake gaskets. Your only putting the silicone stuff on the front and back and a little bit around the first holes on the front and back where the water passes thru(the rusty holes), and only use the blue gaskets.
