Got my horizantial shadow box from custommontecarlo.com and had my Equus gauge for awhile know waiting to get dropped in...looks good just need to do some cutting and mods to the panel and should drop right in..all excited about that, woke up early today and took off water pump, alt, and powersteering, water pump looks new and power sterring is getting changed out for a new one..all da pulleys look horriable, might get a a quote this weekend to see how much it will cost me to just get hem black gloss "Powder Coated" shouldnt be much..and save me time..

Oh yea also cleaned up da from engine and just a touch of paint to make it look good..

Heres the little paint job i did, hit it with engine paint..

Manifold, valve cover etc will all be coming off, ok for overspray..lol stay tuned

now what you doing santo's? you flipping this one too? this isnt your daily driver is it? reason for asking you shortcutting alot of stuff that you SHOULDNT be 😳 serio get you a engine hoist(150.00 at harbour freight)orim sure the felL.A,s can let you borrow one? that paint is pretty but is it durable,and will it hold up without the PROPER prep?!,with the great results of your first g(elco) you should have learned to GET THAT ENGINE AND BAY CLEANED AND TIDIED UP THE RIGHT/ONLY WAY!!!! damn ese im gonna have to come to the SURgate and reguL.A.te!!! :wink: sorry homie its just that oCd like your boy warren.nehoo them there gauges are niCE!!! and will complement the rest of that new interior you got for the 2t.keep it moving,and PLLEEAASE dont let my OG'S advice and constructive criticism the wrong way,i just think the 2t deserves MORE!!! :wink:

Hahahahaha Nah bro, no hard feeling here...I painted it with the Rustolum Engine paint, so i think it will hold for a good while. This will be a daily driver, i had my fun with da elko, and wont be popping da hood much on the Mally, i will go to gbody runs to hang out and chill, but not like car shows and try to when trophys...lol...got so much goin right know, baby on da way, in process of buying a house, & working on mally, so just trying to make it look decent to where i can say i put in work, maybe later on down da line will get down on it, just so much going, i need to slow my roll, "fell me" :wink: , But i understand what u saying...thanks for cking in Big bro

Wow oh wow!!! Today was a day!! Man running up and down trying to find the right power steering pump to match up with the stock bracket...its a long story, lets just say after 5 hrs i found it...

Big bro Elko Warren and Big bro Mel man came through today as well to hook a brother up with the front suspension, They went to work today on this 78 Bu, bunch of old nuts and alot of dirt!! Hahaha they changed the Lower and upper control arms and i can tell u this they are looking fresh!!! All i need to do is change everything else and have things ready so that warren can make one more visit and we should be done 🙂

I really want to thank u warren and mel...this was a good bonding experience..really appreciate it..80zbabiez..

Oh yea here some pics i took...hahaha make them work and get there sweet on!! Started with light and ended in dark! But we did it...

Just a little update today, heres a better pic of arms..Left spindles on, warrens bringing me another set, and painted the frame..looks way better.removed sway bar, center link, and tie rods, should have them back on before next Saturday..
