looking real good, can you get the 6x9s to sit flush, or do you need a couple of trim rings made for them to sit into?

Lookin sweet! But big dog, pull it all back out, clean the floor pan up and lay some rust preventative down after you weld the floor pan in. Roll some on the sides and roof... $25-$29 bucks for some chassis saver. I can pick some up from the spot out here and get the loot back when u come. With the way the floor looked, man I'd be doin that ASAP!!

Sup sup big bro..im for sure going to put some chassis saver...this is just a mock up, the roof look pretty good just the floor i think needs it for sure..theres a spot out here where the body shop guy gets his paint and they have that chassis saver..will pick up a gallon on it...i thnk it was like $28 bucks. Seat will come out and will do. 🙂 good lookin

Omg! Skip u read my mind!! Lmao...yes the 6x9s dont sit all the way down.. The stock 6x9 hole it a tad bit short, so thats Where they stick out..i had the wifey come out to check out what i did and to see what the back was going to look like, and thats the frist thing she notice were the 6x9 popping out.

So yes if u can make me a little wood 6x9 pod so that it could blend with the 6x9"s that would bE very cool..i think that should do it and make it look clean...let me know. Good looking big Skip..

I can and I have the wood, however can you do me a favor and measure the distance straight down the center of the speaker from front to back, if that makes sense? if not take a pic through the rear window, showing the top of the 6x9 and ill highlight the measurement i need, to make the ring... gonna want to cut it down so that it follows the line of the window one one side and also the seat on the other side, or close to it, so you dont have to do much trimming.

take the speaker back out and flip it upside down over the hole thats cut for it, see if it fits flush against the panel. if it does, then you should prob just cut the hole bigger so that it can seat itself! if it doesnt something should be made to make it cleaner

Car is turning out awesome. Haven't had a chance to read every single page so not sure if I missed this or if you even mentioned it. Did you relocate your overflow tank
Or did you not need it.

Edit: I think I see it. Where your battery used to be.
