ok so i just got finished telling my dad what happened and i was really suprised he didnt yell or get really pissed at me. i really apreciate all the advice you guys gave me i think if i waited any longer he would be really mad. i am probobly going to have to get my own insurance if it affects theres at all

Nice! I went through this when i had to tell my parents about my first speeding ticket. 73 in a 55 :lol: My dad just laughed and said " I been waiting for this". I think they realize that when they were younger they were doing the samething so they arent quite as pissed as you would think. Oh and yea I am now on my own insurance thanks to that

cool! you will be ok bro, when you do whats right, things will work out (at least in your heart) and having peace in your heart is much better than having a car... also, trust me, your family seems well rooted. your dad will be there for you in many years to come, just keep doing right, think about your future, and dont make the same mistakes over and over...

Where did you get all the led light and bulbs for your car and did you replace all the accent lighting with LEDs like the dome light the lights at your feet etc?

thanks guys for all the advice and support. so yesterday i went to court and i was suppose to get 60 day loss of license and the $500 fine but i talked to the trooper and got him to lower it to 90 mph and just the fine and no loss of license! so all i have to do is take a safe driving course but i still have my license! i went out cruising with some friends last night and took this

and also i put anodized red lug nuts on to go with my rims

That's lucky on the no loss of license. Got my impounded for 60 days last year and I will never do that again. I love to drive faaaaar too much to let that happen again.

thanks man i was thinking about getting the rims in 17's from year one but i cant afford $800 for rims right now but damn 60 days in impound? that sucks man. i would be so nervous that my car would get trashed or something. what did you do to have that happen? speeding im guessing haha

thanks man i was thinking about getting the rims in 17's from year one but i cant afford $800 for rims right now but damn 60 days in impound? that sucks man. i would be so nervous that my car would get trashed or something. what did you do to have that happen? speeding im guessing haha

Not the car haha just my license. It was kind of a non-normal punishment as the judge just wanted to teach me a lesson but not screw me completely. I have plenty of speeding tickets which pissed him off but this was for reckless driving. I had to drive a couple hours every morning to my job during the summer and, being the dumb kid I was, I never got enough sleep. So, one morning the police chief was following me in an unmarked car and claimed I was swerving and almost hitting other cars. I will admit I was falling asleep but I know I never came close to hitting anybody. He also said I was speeding but I wasn't. So he had a trooper pull me over and I got a reckless driving ticket out of all of it. I could have potentially gone to jail according to the particular counties law, but ended up getting my license impounded and a $300 fine.

Moral of the story, be on the look out for police (no offense Jbreu if you read this :lol: ) and make sure you don't do anything stupid and get too many tickets. Not driving really sucks.

that still sucks tho. but everyone was like ohh so did you learn your lesson? and i was like yup make sure to have a good radar detector haha
