Very nice collection of 60 chevys clikc the link in my car domain page to see my 55. it is in similar form as some of the 60's. and the tailgate looks good!
wow! i like it! you should leave it just like that. i dont really like the look of a finished car for some reason. and wats with the sh*t in the trunk? lol

so for rims i wanted to go with a nice set of american racing tourque thrust's with the blacked out spokes but seeing as how i cant even afford 1 of them i was thinking of painting some old pontiac rally wheels gloss black and then putting on some trim rings. i allready have a set of 4 so it wouldent cost anything. i could only find this 1 pic online but how do you think it would look?
*EDIT* i know these arnt pontiac rims but they look almost the same

the car is going to stay like that as long as we can keep it like that. our group is called the Do sh*ts cause we go out an do sh*t so the pile in the trunk is our mascot and well some people tell us the car looks like sh*t and i say well then you should see the trunk lol.
haha i like it!

ok so its been a few days since ive posted anything but ive been working on a few things. first i made up a set of braces that go from the core support to the firewall. just like the 1979 monte ones without the bend. then i made up a 3rd brake light with a little led strip i had. and my last project for the week is led underglow. i got 4 3.9 foot strips in the mail but im going to do that a little later. but here are some pics. i also got a set of kyb gas adjust shocks for the front for my bday so those are going in soon also.
this is the bar a bought at h* depot, it was 10ft long and was like 10 bucks, kinda thick but i dont really care about an extra 10 pounds.

it was so thick that i couldent crush it with a bench vice so i used a hydrolic press that was in my auto tech class.

drilled some holes, grinded some stuff, wire brushed it and painted it. kinda a crappy picture. ill take a better one tomarrow

and this is the 3rd brake light. pretty easy to do. i made an aluminum housing for it.

and this is my speaker grill all finished

Cool 3rd brake light, I got to get me one....
thanks, in total it cost me a whole $4. i bought the strip off ebay and then just ran the wires. really easy to hook up too. negitive goes to a ground and the possitive goes to the orange wire on top of the brake pedal.

I really like the build. You have some cool ideas. Its those little things like a extra light, and speaker cover that make a car. Keep up the good work, cant wait to see more.
