ive wanted to do one of these for a while so i guess ill start now. i bought a 1979 chevy el camino when i was 15, 3 years back for $750. i just started working on it about a year or 2 ago. it had a 267 in it but i put a nice 350 crate engine, 650 holley, edelbrock high rise intake, tuff stuff 100 amp alternator, micket tompson valve covers and some other stuff.

Off of what car did those rims come from? What are they called?

Those wheels are N90's. They came on Monte SS's and 2nd gen Camaros. I think that color combo looks good with those wheels too.

well there just threaded pipe, really thick. a bench vise wouldent even crush them so i used a hydrolic press so that squished them pretty good. if i were to do it again i would have bought a thinner walled pipe and one that isnt galvinized. then i rounded off the edges with a bench grinder and then drilled holes and wire brushed the galvinized stuff off cuz the paint would fish eye if i didnt anf then drilled the holes in my cowl and bolted them up. let me know if you have any other questions.
*edit* if you meant the bars that go from the core support to the fenders i didnt make up those i got them from a cutlass i just made the long set that goes from the core support to the firewall.

so today i spent about 4 hours installing a red led underbody kit. a while back i bought 4 3.9 foot strips on ebay for like $7 a piece. i havent set up a switch for them yet so whenever the bar is on the lights are on so ill be putting in a switch tomarrow. it looks good at night but my phone cant take very good pictures at night but this is the best one i got.
