As far as I know the wiring to the starter is no different on a diesel or gas. There should no be any wires from the remote set up that go to the starter. All the wires to install a remote starter are found under the dash on the drivers side in your car. If you look at the brain of the remote starter you should be able to get the brand and model number and look up that unit to get the wiring diagram.

Those wires on the starter are factory, you need to find the maker of the remote and model number and that will tell you where the wires are. There may be one wire going to the engine compartment that attaches to a wire to tell the brain the engine is running but none to the starter

Ok thanks. Where in the engine compartment may it be located? I'm trying to take apart my dash cluster aswell and I looked up how to do it besides the speedo sensor which I'm running into

I don't know another way to tell you that you need the brand and model number of the brain. If you don't have that then you'll need to find the harness for the remote starter and trace all the wires.

I'm guessing most of the wires with blue connectors on my fuse box like for the IGN are to be replaced with fuses? The IGN fuse hole is smaller than the other connectors that can actually fit a fuse in it.
