i purchased this car about 8 months ago, i had to strip the interior out because it had inhabitants that i didnt want, lol. the motor is locked, it came complete with the 700 r4 trans and weld wheels, hurst shifter, for a power glide though, and a small tach. my plans are to put a 468bbc in it with the 700 r4. i am building a 496 with a roller cam and tunnel ram for it. but that will take a while. i would appreciate any ideas or tips to ease the process. i do have the hooker headders, the ones with the slip tubes. i really want to alumicoat them so i can keep the engine bay temperature to a limit. 021.jpg our flamily 337.jpg our flamily 410.jpg

I would sell the 700r4 and buy a 4L80e. Much stronger, it is basically a 4 speed th400, and will handle 750hp with little modification. They are electronically controlled, but there is alot of aftermarket support with stand alone controllers. They also have lockup converters. Check out jakesperformance.com. I am going to get their manual controller, D1 transbrake, and stage 2 rebuild for an 80e.
