Got the exhaust done. Old headers and exhaust was 3", New header collectors are 3.5". I had to modify the x pipe and weld reducers in there. Also added safety brackets for the headers. This was my first time ever doing any exhaust work or welding.
Tech tip for making good jet extensions. Never used thread in jet extensions, they are a restriction. I needed to make custom ones because my dual needle and seat bowls are much bigger than standard holley bowls.
Take some 5/16 I. D. tubing, anything will work as long as the I. D. is 5/16.
Measure what u need
Cut it with a tubing cutter with good pressure so it swedges the end a good bit as it cuts
And there ya go. Perfect jet extension with zero restrictions
