I am 99% sure it's thisI’m not familiar with that. In your photo it appears that it is on the base of the column making the outer diameter larger and it is partially removed, correct? Is anything attached to it on the bottom?
I just looked at both of the cars in my garage and neither seem to have that, unless I’m missing something. I know this doesn’t answer your question, just looking for exactly what you’re looking at.
Edit : I went back a couple of pages and viewed that piece in several other photos. And, I have no idea what that is. That is definitely not on our card here. I’d say take it off. Especially considering that if it goes badly, then it’s January and you have to resolve why it’s covering up.
