I just watched an Engine Masters episode involving intake temperature; it was very interesting. Turns out that fuel temperature has an impact on HP moreso than air temp, so those old school cool cans for the fuel line were actually beneficial.

Dont know how I missed this thread but i did......
Where in NY?
When driving, the intake should be as cool as the ambient temps, give or take 10 degrees. The blow through helps though - a BUNCH.
Love the short pull vid. You need some more though - boost is just darn silly fun 🙂🙂 I know alot of guys love their NA builds and 300-500HP is nothing to scoff at, and I can appreciate that, but........................................ :
100%From my understanding, the fuel in a blow through setup acts like meth/water mix in a meth injection system. The fuel takes heat energy from the air to fully atomize it due to the pressure - a Boyle's Law thing lol - when changing states. It's the reason most all blow through builds really don't need an intercooler.
Which bypass valve?Did you figure out why your bypass valve is dumping so much?
You said your race valve was opening a lot and I thought I heard it in the video as wellWhich bypass valve?
It's supposed to be open at all times, except under load. You said your race valve was opening a lot and I thought I heard it in the video as well
