It's been narrowed about 4" overall if memory serves correctly, tucked back towards the body, end caps lengthened and recessed into the fenders, and the license tag pocket cut out and filled in with the middle pieces from another bumper. Plus removing the impact strip and filling the dozens of holes it covers.
Also narrowed the marker lights to better line up with the headlights.

When I did mine, there was obviously some cutting, adding metal, welding, grinding, etc...but not nearly as much work as you did on yours.

Between Donovan and I, you could get some ideas. To filled the plate pocket, lengthened the sides, I shortened the lights, added a center riser to meet the header between the grills, and used 3 bumpers total for parts, lol.
My olds clip is a 78-80. I used the Malibu bumper, the bumper I got from Blake, and a 81 Buick century bumper.
A lot of work, but worth it IMO.

When you say you shortened the lights, are you referencing the parking lights? Because I wanted to do that as well because they don't make any replacements for the 83 Cutty.

Yes sir. I did it so they are the same width as the headlights, and lined up right under them. My parking lights are flush LEDs in the sides of the bumper, and since this is a 78-80 header, I have the parking lights right by the headlights.
So, I shortened the bumper light holes to fill them with LED lights or scoops or something.
