Hey guys I was riding around in my el Camino the other day. I did a little burn out immediately after the car starts to run rough and almost sounds like it was to kill. I get to a red light and it finally does I crank it up and put it in drive then it kills again. I do the same think two more times then I lose contact to the motor after all of that I had to wait for my brother to pull it home. Can anyone help me???

Remove the fuel line from the carb and plug it. Then start the car and let the carb run out of fuel. The reattach the fuel line and you should be good. Sounds like the needle was hung up and letting the carb flood.
