Mel that car looks great but I know you dont plan on running it against Big Meezys caprice unless its just for fun.

Thanks bro! Are you referring to "Mike" out here in AZ?? If so I've never met him or saw his car in person but I did tell him i'd line em up. I don't plan on racing anyone seriously until I build another engine for the elco which won't happen for a while I gotta get two other rides running before I do that. My next engine (fuel injected) will put out around 600-800hp depending on how the funds are looking but will also require me to change the transmission, rear end and a few suspension components.
or when Im done with the el co, ill trailer it out there and you can run him with the 305. no hood poppin though... 😀 , cause Ill be embarrassed of my engine compartment... and make sure to tell them, if they hear anything whistling its because I cant get the alternator to stop squeaking, I think its the pulley or something...

but people should know, you are not building a race car, you are building a clean *ss el co. you stuck to your goals and its coming out crazy good, you got people with what they consider to be "motor" calling you out  got people all scared..., I cant wait till I visit AZ

i like how it whistles  yeh, it just bothers me that some people dont understand that if you were building a race car, then it would come out just that, you achieve what you set your mind too. its like they build a car they want to race and then try to race someone who didnt do the same thing. or they call out someone who put their car together too (point blank simple), just gets old... Im not the type to brag, but if they wanna call someone out, I got your back, we got something for them and not just the little 305 el co either. but i think it puts out about 225 horsepower should be a good match against his 500hp

Picked up a 6.5" Component set, 2 - 10" Shallow Subs, a Battery Capacitor, some really nice Battery terminals, And wiring ALL MEMPHIS AUDIO.
