New Here
Figure I'd Start the build thread, I'm 23 and from New Hampshire I bought this car off my Roommate you guys know him as 1979ratrod here on the forums and his 1979 El Camino
Anyway the Monte has a 350 2 Bolt and TH350 Trans, the block was bored .030 over
has a mild Cam not sure what cam it has haha so will call it a mystery cam
stock heads for now with roller rockers
soon to have Hooker longtubes (Haven't slapped them on yet)
Edelbrock RPM Performer intake
Holley 4160 600CFM carb
HEI Distributor
I have DynoMax Race Bullet Mufflers on the way as well
My Plans for the car are to make it a street/track car the interior is already fully gutted minus the dash, I Just put the engine back together as it was just sitting for a few years with no carb alternator, fan starter, valve covers or exhaust or distributor. So i buttoned her all back up over the past couple of months and it was nice to see it fire back up after sitting in 1979ratrod's back yard rusting away.
This is when i first started working on getting her back together

coming together

thought id be a little different and give these a try for head lights

This is after I finished and got her running which made loading it onto the trailer a lot easier and brought her home

This is how it sits now, just picked up that ICT Billet Alternator Tensioner
