I’ve owned over 40 to 50 cars of those 10 to 15 where G bodies. The 442 was automatic my ElCamino was an automatic but I’m converting to 5spd. Before I sold the 442 I made it a Olds 455/th400/ 3:73 gear open differential( got screwed by the salvage yard was supposed to be a posi).Nice collection of cars and pictres. The ElCamino is 74’ Chevy 350/ NWC camaro 5spd/ 3:73 posi.
In one of the pictures you see a blue 79’ Cutlass that had a 71’ Pontiac 350/TH400/ 3:23 rear out of a 71’Buick.
The 442 and the Cutlass where back in late 80’s early 90’s before all the stuff you can buy today to fit g body.
Compared to my brothers I’ve only owned a couple cars. My oldest brother has an average of 300cars (Mopars mostly) in his collection of parts cars, rebuildables, and personal keepers.
