I am with KJOlds442, I would have to loose grandmas spindley little white walls and give it a performance look to go with the car ie buckets console ralley guages & ralley wheels. Tire Rack just had some 215/70/14 BFGs on special for $44! but was done in three days and I missed it. Grrr. Nice looking car and a good find for sure. Don't put any money in the 307 that can't be carried over to a 350/403 or another motor. AC delete makes no sense to me in a 307 car unless it could not be economically fixed, you live up north, and you just gotta have the cleaner look in the engine bay. It definately does that, but you still have hoses galore smog stuff & manifolds. Then again its always one thing at a time. Headers and dual exhaust can have her sound good and carry over. Gears will be your biggest acceleration gain for the money spent.
I just bought some BFG radials for myself from tirerack.com i got 235-60-15 the most wide tires you can fit with out rubbing and payed only 55.00 😀 each and 40.00 to ship all 4 to my door that is a great deal super walmart by me said it's only 10.00 per tire to mount and ballance but i am going to wait till spring no need to put them on now my car will not be touching any snow.
Back: 15x8 rallys (255 60r 15) Front: 15x7 rallys (235 60r 15)
Painted All black except the center cap and the 5 little chrome trim rings
With raised white letters of course
powdercoated black, i left my center cap and the 5 stainless trim rings off as well as the beauty ring. i don't know the tire size off my head but they are meater than stock and the rims are 14x7, wish I had 15's but I'm working with what i got

If you are looking to maintain a stockish looking exterior ... keep the same tire choice and hunt down those chrome SSIII rims in 15" - factory (RPO - N83) for the 442 and many full size. I believe Wheel-Vintiques makes new ones .... I'm just a sucker for the factory chrome and well the accent rings on the other style rims drive me nuts (they get loose and you hear ching, ching, ching) ... aside from those I'd go with a classic aftermarket rim - such as A/R Torque Thrusts, Keystone Klassics et cetera. Very nice care - wished my Calais looked half as good.
i dont think that 255's will fit in the back I have 245's now and they are very close to touching you may need to put wheel spacers if you want to fit 255-60-15 in the back I went a touck smaller 235 60 because the 245 's that I have are so close
KJOlds, You hit that tire rack deal! I have an 83 that I fixed up a bit to sell and have two 14x6 and two 15x7 otherwise matching Olds ralleys. I wanted to put the 215/70/14s up front with the 235/60/15s in the rear. 25.9 & 26.0 tall respectively. I run 235/60/15s on factory 15x7s on the front of my GN & 442 with 15x8 widened factory wheels in the rear. They look good all the way around if you want to keep the same size for rotation. I run 275/50/15 Nitto drags on the back of the GN to keep a short height for my turbo/converter combo. I have run 275/60/15s on the 442 and its probably my favorite overall look but I think the 255/60s look great as well.
350 Cutty, They are probably factory 14x6s and not 14x7s, unless they have been widened. The powedercoating looks great.
