First off nice project car bro. Second its not a Ls its a SC Monte the Ls would have the euro style front clip. Third I think u have a2004-r not a th350 like you think. Do you have 4 gears?

Anyways wish u lived closer I got the back window trim pieces u need. I did the sane thing on my old 86 Monte.

Thanks for the info man. It could be a 2004-r. i was just going by what the guy i bought it off said. Its going to get a 700r4 until i can save up and find everything for a 5spd conversion

Hey guys sorry for the lack of posts. ive been working a lot of overtime so i haven't been able to work on the car much. I got a trunk lid for it the other day and im in the process of buying an ss for parts. more pictures soon

Got the front end ripped off the The Monte. Found some more body rot im going to have to fix. Going to start stripping the interior next.Im also in the process of buying an 87 SS. Runs and drives. the body is in worse shape so im going to just strip it of everything usefull. Pictures soon

Don't bother with the 700r4, the 200r4 is cheaper, lighter and will take all the punishment of the 700 (with a little valve-body work.
You should do like I did go for more cubes (I have a 406) installed a TPI off of an 88 Firebird converted to SD and installed a T56 6-speed with the 50% overdrive in 6th! Great on gas, and a MONSTER on torque!! lots of fun!!

Hey guys. In the process of buying an 86 SS right now. Runs and drives with a 305 and 700R4. Im gonna get it home and strip out the interior and see how the floors are. The body is a little rougher on the outside. Im not sure which body i want to use. All depends on the floor of the SS. its been sitting on a trailer for the last few years so im hoping they will be good. But ill guess ill find out
