Damn man. As i said in the PM, I'm out of a job right now... 🙁 If you still have the car by the time I'm back to work, we'll talk. That window, trunk lid, and filler piece will be nice... 😉 Also how is the interior?

Sorry to hear about the car, but........ how much you want for the whole thing as it sits?

Re: 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 resto

I get what you mean! I bet you anything that we lose at least one 2+2 because of a car accident each year. They will be super rare by the time I'm 60 or 80. I really like the car myself, [/quote]

I'm sorry if this is outta place but isn't this kind of ironic? 🙁

I'm thinking that can be repaired. You hit the tree head on so the horns may have to be straightened but the front frame clip is probably ok. Remove the front body clip and take it to an alignment shop and that will tell you if the frame has been tweaked.

Man that sucks real bad!! 🙁 The important part is that you re not injured!

After all the work you put into that car you should look into all possibilities of fixing it before throwing in the towel!

I agree, it seems that there is just too much effort put into this to just be parted. I know I would want to keep it and like gp said if its just a matter of straightening the horns and getting new sheetmetal it would be worth the effort to bring it back to life.

X3! If you wanna do this dylan ill be right there to help ya. Ill start looking for a gbody frame for ya if you want, you can use front fenders, hood, core support from a regular gp. You'll need the nose and spoiler from lauren eng, and maybe some front suspension parts.

I completely agree. You've put so much work into already that could possibly be salvaged. You can change it from a resto thread to a resurrection thread.
x2. I could understand if it was a plain jane regal, monte, cutlass or GP but that car is rare. It obviously looks horrible but alot of that is just body parts. If the frame is good, or fixable, you can salvage it. Guess its time for a frame off resto 8) Even if you arent planning on fixing it, I would wait a couple months before parting it because you might change your mind or come across another car you could use for parts.

I really appreciate the concerns from all of you guys, I realy do. I was also the person at fault even though I was trying to prevent another car in the accident, it seems the crap happens to the best of us but whatever I won't give up yet. I know I comitted to parting it out earlier but I was even more mad and depressed about what happend than now and have been thinking about it ever since it happened and I'm keeping it. Let the resurrection begin!!!!! 😀
