aside from all the good advice posted, if you tightened the rear control arms with the rear hanging, this can happen. you want the car level, and full weight on the rear when you tighten down the bolts. the same holds true for the front lower control arms. where you tighten the arms is where it wants to stay.

Very true. I had a buddy do this on the front of a Chevelle. The front looked like it was ready for the baha lol.

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer for you but both of my Regals(1986 && 1987 ) are like this and I couldn’t figure it out. I should also mention that they have been like this for as long as I can remember (about 15 years).

I just saw a beat up Regal about the same year as mine in a parking lot. It definitely had sag in the front (mine looks much better) and pretty much all the way around. I didn't measure it (because the owner was sitting in it) but the left rear did look lower than the rest. So it must be a factory flaw, apparently only in Regals?

No, the control arms were never messed with. I just unbolted the shocks blocked the frame up and let one side hang at a time.

I dont have an answer for you but if it makes you feel any better, my 78 Lemans sits the same except its the right rear. 😛 I am swapping coils this week so i'll post the outcome if its any help. Mine actually makes the right front look sagged sometimes when parked, i went through the front end and only found a worn idler arm, not alot of play but i ordered one anyway. I dont think it would cause sag but i will know tomorrow or friday.

Ok so maybe it isn't just Regals. What coils are you going to use and are they new or used? Thanks for the info.

I am going to try variable rate F-body rear coils. They were bought new for my 84 z28, the guy drove the car off and on for about two weeks with them and then i bought it and started parting the car out. So they are as close to new as you can get.
