wow your moving along very quick. very nice job, i will be following this thread for sure. If you dont mind me asking, How much did they charge you for the notch?

I did all the metal work on the frame. The narrowing of the rear, adding the round tubing in the rear, boxing the center and notching the front for the a/c compressor. It was pretty inexpensive as far as materials (metal by the foot). But I definitely have a lot of time tied up in it.

Looks great so far. What size wheels are you running on the front and back?

They are 20 inch front and back. I don't know the width or backspacing. I bought them from a guy that had them on a s-10. I needed something that would fit over the front brakes so I could get the body on to measure backspace.
I am torn between the budnik wheel that looks like the original gn wheel and the weld rts.

You let me know what you think on the wheels. Here are a couple wheel pics.

im assuming your sticking with 20" for the new set of of aftermarket wheels also? In my opinion the first pic with the black Buick looks clean but either way you go you cant go wrong, good choice on the wheels.

I took the rolling chassis to the media blaster yesterday and found an original t-type hood.

Motor is at the machine shop getting cleaned up and put back together with arp fasteners. Those pics are soon to come but here are some for now.
