shall i buy a new radiator?

Not unless you know that is the problem.

Add Water/coolant, first. Then check the thermostat. If both of those are good and you have water and air moving through the radiator and if it still isn't cooling, then replace the radiator.

thank you so much for your input brother

The first thing I would do. Fill radiator with water. Run engine with the radiator cap off and watch for bubbles. If the engine gets up to operating temperature and you do not see flow and no bubbles. Then I would flush the coolant, put a new thermostat in, and new coolant. Bubbles are bad = bad headgasket or cracked head.

when you say the thermostat sticks it really leaves me feeling like HUUUHHHhh

Follow the upper radiator hose back to the motor.

There is a housing about the size of a fist held onto the intake manifold with 2 bolts. Remove the 2 bolts and the thermostat is held between this housing and the intake manifold.

The factory thermostat is a P/N 3051139 which is a 195 degree. I usually swap these out with a 180 degree unit (because I don't live where it gets cold), but a 195 will work fine if the car is in good working order.

Here is Summits 180 degree thermostat You can read the comments and Q/A section to learn more.
