Did you change out the pistons in the picture to flat tops or mill the deck or heads?

i had the builder swap out to high compression pistons other than whats in the pictures and also he did mill the heads to get the higher compression. he measured the cc's and figured out the compression ratio and well as made sure there was no piston to valve clearance issues.

Stock pistons or TRW/Speedpro? The aftermarket forged need more piston to bore clearance than the destructions say... just want you to catch it now before it goes back together!

i'll have to call and ask. thanks for the heads up! i believe it will be fine but i'll double check to be sure. he's buitl several hundred Olds motors over the years. Gray's in Indianapolis is who did the piston change and hew heads and went through everything since i didnt trust the first shop. the first shop that did the stock rebuild didnt know what they were doing, cam bearing installed wrong, two rod caps put on backwards, installed bigger valves in the j heads and didnt grind them correctly. just a headache overall
