1996 Caprice I built

This is a 96 caprice/SS clone that I built starting last June. I replaced the spoiler and grill that we're already on it and damaged, added euro smooth front bumper, rollpan, repainted the trunk, had the rocker trim and handles painted, 1pc smoked headlights, tinted and cleared taillights, bagged it on 22's. I traded it for an 02 mini cooper base about a month ago for my girlfriend. We got rear ended 9 days later and the mini got totaled. Now she has an 05 mini cooper s with the money we got for the base.

This car looks great. Nice double snorkel. I had a chance to by a clone a few years ago but didnt pull the trigger. I will admit I have been saving for 1996 Imapala SS ever since. Last year they made the car and Chevy had corrected the problems the 95s and 94s had.

Nice ride man. What type of performance you get out of that? I'm talking 1/4 mile, you ever run it at the track. I have always wanted an lt1 caprice/impala but did not want a slug.

came out niCE.im gonna be running that same corvette spectre dual cold air intake and filters on my 383 tpi im building for my 87 double S :!: (shout outs to young deezy!!! :wink: )i had a 95 impala SS bubble on 22" irocs back in 03 with the same paint scheme,got it from a police auction for 1700.00 with 67,000 original miles on it,and had plans of using the motor and guts in my 86 luxury until my lil sis took it on a "high-speed baby daddy chase"!!! and ended up going head-on into the side of a mac truck,and then was rear ended by an astro van!!! which sparked a fire and just like that it was like dr dre says"up in smoke".can wait to see your approach on a g'body 8)

Thanks for the comments guys. I never ran it in a track so I don't know times. The only time I really ever opened it up fully was on a highway near me when a new mazdaspeed 3 was messing with me, I got it up to 126mph the. We hit traffic and had to back it off.
