4 wd trucks are always in demand ahead of winter. 150K miles to 200K + miles seem to be the average for this year of truck. Also the price is Canadian -$4500 asking converts to $3300. If I offer $3000 Cdn the US would be $ 2200 2300.

If they are rare in your area and you like it then pick it up. The Suburbans here are under 1k regularly but pickups are worth quite a bit more.
I've had 3 of 'em, the 96 was a better truck than the '00. Sold it to my neighbor 3 years ago and it's still going after 2 motors.
Frame looks solid, check the big round tubular crossmember behind the cab. Usually filled with crap and rots out. Rockers and cab corners if needed repaired to pass inspections will run serious $$ if you can't do it yourself. My state, they will fail the rig if it has open holes... TSS an issue on both. 5.3's both had piston slap when cold. 14-16 mpg, maybe 17 on a trip. No 3rd door sux, the '00 had one and it's worlds different. My'00 went away on a trade in when the frame started to crack behind the cab, only had 114K on it.
