2 brl carb question??

Ok so today I took of my carb off of my 81 malibu its a 2 brl rochester quadra jet it was bolted on the 6 cyl when I tried to remove a plug that was connected to the passenger side of the carb I broke it and dont kno what it is to replace it I took a pik any knowledge would b appreciated

this is the part the one with that gold circle in the middle i broke the casing that covers it that has a plug to it any thoughts on what it is

That's the electric choke. easy to replace, just don't use a gasket. BTW you have a Dualjet carb.
