Why not change both? Are the fronts newer? When I drove my cutlass home it had new v8 springs in the front and originals in the back. The *ss end floated while the front was planted.

My rear sat higher up than front .Also wanted to close gap in wheel well. I just don't want it to be higher in the front.

Just cut the rears, I think a quarter coil equals an inch.

the G body rears are double pigtail. I have 1983 Phoenix springs (moog 5659) in back that I cut. They are pigtail on one end and open on the other end. I have the F body rear spring isolator on top which had a center hole that fits nicely around the bubble for the pigtail spring and it had a channel in the isolator for an open ended spring.

I have UMI 2" drop rear springs and Moog front springs for SBC with ac and the weight of a big block up front.
These are with 27" tall up front and 28" tall in the rear.

Yeah I was kinda joking. I'm wondering about the current setup, like what are the condition of the front springs? Are they old and sagging, and that is why the front is low? Were the current rear springs newer?

I have to stop taking things so seriously......

You will just have to install them if you already bought them and see. Springs have different rates. Just because it is a 2" drop spring doesn't mean it will be exactly 2" lower than the springs on your car now.
