I would have grabbed it too! What a conversation piece!!! To bad you didn't find one of those DOHC big blocks Olds was said to have prototyped back then as well.

There's no "was said to have prototyped" about it. The W-43 motor was not only developed but was slated for production in 1970 until GM brass killed all performance work to concentrate on emissions compliance. Both the pushrod and DOHC versions of this motor are on display at the R.E. Olds museum in Lansing, MI.
