2004r shift

700r4's and 2004r's are not supposed to shift from 3rd to 4th at full throttle, more like half throttle. As far as the other gears i'd look into adjusting the tv cable like already mentioned.
id check the tv adjustment for sure like everyone else said, becarful u will burn it up real fast if dont get that cable adjusted right, if you have an aftermarket carb make sure you got the right angles on the tv cable too.

why are you shifting into 4th at wot?
1. how fast are you going for that to be necessary
2. overdrive transmissions don't handle power well in overdrive

You need a 700R4 Corvette servo to be able to shift into 4th at WOT. Shifting into 4th at WOT is probably like, what, 130-140mph? Are you racing this car in an organized series or just running some top speeds out on an open road?

The corvette servo is only good for 3/4 trottle upshift. I'd have to look again but i'm going into 4th at around 110 I believe, just for reference. I also have shifted into 4th at full throttle but I don't know what all has been to my transmission and I think my tv cable may be off a bit since I don't have the geometry corrector.
thank you for the link.im going to buy presure guage tomarrow .as the artical reads push d button on the tv cable then push button all the way to firewall then release d button.now push throttle to wide open and it will adjust it s self.now have helper inside car push peddle to floor then check for play in the cable.wow this is very detailed.the presure gauge when hooked up should have presure at idle.the presure should drop when you remove tv cable from carb ,if no drop need to redo and test. thanks again for info ,try tomarrow
