I have an 85 cutlass with a 200m and now a 403 in it from a trans am, i have the turbo 350 that came with the motor and am wondering if i can swap it right in or do i need to modify or change my cross member?

Should be a straight swap.

Yeah thanks bud, once i had more time i searched on here and found out its no problem swap, i never had one with a metric Trans, but now I'm schooled, thanks again.

No prob.. Tons of info here, soak it up.

You'll need the Th350 dipstick and tube.

The kickdown cable and bracket won't interchange either.
RockAuto.com has new cables for like $15.

You may need a new speedo gear too depending on what gears your car has and what gears that t/a had, otherwise your speedometer won't work correctly.

I do have the cable and bracket, i just don't have the dipstick tube and stick. Guess I'm going junkyard hopping.

Probably easier to order a new one from Jegs or Summit as vehicles with TH-350 aren't real prevalent in junkyards these days.

I did this swap, great upgrade but I wish i had a 2004r put in instead. 3 speeds limit gear choices for a daily driver if you care about gas mileage at all.
