Well this was tedious.

First some maths and pilot holes.

Seemed like the best way to mark clear lines over convex and concave surfaces.

I left some space between the slots to retain some rigidity. And offset them front and rear. Additionally, this is an 1/8" extrusion and has a centre divider so it's still pretty structurally sound, IMO.

Much more robust than the aftermarket offerings that will likely result in your death:

I like my family.

I need to weld on the wings and see what it weighs compared to the stock unit. If I am disappointed I may have to find some more weight in it. ;)
In the biking world speed holes/slots is known as Drillium. The lightest element known to man. Some people go way overboard.

Welded on the wings.

And then test fitted it inside the bumper cover, all good. On the car it needs the mounting holes slotted. More chips.
