Got a lead on some cheap but excellent Crager SS with like new Goodrich TA tires in 205/70-14 fronts and 225/70-14 rears. I would rather have 15s but I think these will look and work fine. What do you think?

fit would be good..look okay...but would worry about bottoming out on bumps.

I've got 205 70 14 on my 86 Cutlass without any issues. That's what it came with when new.

Assuming your lug patternis Is the same they will fit. For future reference 245/60/14 on the rear also works & compliments the 205/70 up front in that they are 25.4 & 25.6 tall. Gives it a more serious performance car look.

RThe Cragers used to be Multi lug pattern requiring special nuts with washers. I went 235/60R14 but would actually like 205/70's better on the front. 245/60R14's were a no brainer on the back, looked good and matched the factory tire for height. My speedo is bang on using a GPS.

Thanks for the input, good info.

They are uni-lug and have the proper crager washers and nuts, came off a 57 chevy so should fit.

I searched for oem tire size 69 roadrunner and 69 challenger: 205/75-14

69 Chevelle: 215/70-14

I think these will work for a while. Price is right from my brother! When my planned 454 shreds the rears, I can buy bigger 14s or better yet, find some 15 cragers for the rear.
