I'm sending my th400 into the shop in july. My question is should I go fully manual or go for the street/strip setup so it will still granny shift? Does any one have there transmission set up for manual and how do you like it for a daily driver?
I have a TH400 behind a BBC in my 1955 Chevy. It has a full manual reverse shift valve body and a transbrake. It is street driven but it is not a daily driver. Not something I would recommend for a regularly driven street car but this '55 has been retired from the dragstrip where it was a necessity.
