Sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I ran across a listing for this car about 2 weeks ago. The back half of an aerocoupe someone's cut up. What makes this especially strange is that someone's taken the time to cut halfway up the glass and halfway down the rocker panel, and the car is nearly spotless :wtf:. My best guess is they're using the front of the shell to mount as some sort of wall art? Very strange...

The original listing can be found here

The cut locations make sense when you realize thays where the qtr panels meet the rocker panels plus a few inches, and where the roof meets the a pillars plus a few inches.

That looks like a salvage yard cut to me, likely because they cant legally remove the vin off the car nor can they sell the cab she'll with the vin tag.

Call the person who posted listing. Let us know the backstory. 🤘🏽🤓🤘🏽

PKL 792 looks like the rear tag to me...

Usually gas powered saw, like a handheld concrete saw, but with a grinding wheel type blade

Windshields are laminated, not tempered.
