3.8 to 350 SBO swap/ gauge wiring question

I gotcha DoubleV....but my concern is where to hook up the other wire. I have the temp sender hooked up, but theres no place to hook up the other wire.

So you're saying your temp sending unit only has a 1 wire hookup? If so, that's your problem. You need a 2 wire temp sending unit that are used for gauges.

As far as I know, the only two wire senders are actually switches, not senders. The one I used from the V-6 didnt work. Maybe it was bad. Do you know of a sender with two wires that will fit a 350 SBO?

This is the style I'm currently using but to be honest I've never really bothered to see if my temp idiot light comes on when I turn the key, but I do know that however my wiring is, it's factory. Either way, the idiot light sucks because it doesn't even come on until 258*.

That looks like the one I bought recently at AZ for a v-6. Maybe the pigtail was bad. Im gonna let it ride for now, its not a big deal, just wondering what others were using. thanks!
