Those are for a Chevy motor.

Yes, the 301 is a 4.9L.

You need a Pontiac flywheel. Be aware of the register size, there's 2 sizes. This is the large size. (your size) Notice there is NO index hole, just the 6 bolt holes which go on only 1 way.Use 301 mounts and perches. And, while not trying to pee on your parade, but I would have done a Buick 350 swap into a 3.8 Regal. Much less to adapt.

well, a few weeks ago i had already gotton a flywheel for the engine. of course it was the smaller size. so im serching for the correct size now. the only thing holding me back. irritating. good news is the engine is it, and everything bolted up perfectly.

I'm able to find the one I bought, but I can't seem to find the one i need anywhere. Anyone sell them online?

That add is very misleading. Firstly the part # doesn't exist. Secondly, Pontiacs are internally balanced, not zero balanced. The flywheel is part of that balance and that is why it only bolts on one way. And what exactly is a '76 4.3 260? This is exactly what you need if you are willing to pay for a billet steel flywheel. http://prestoliteperformance.com/drivetrain/flywheels/steel-flywheel-pontiac.html. I'm sure you can get it cheaper than that site with some looking around. Like this.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hays-Flywhe...h-/390485035945?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true
