305 block into 350 block?

I was wondering if I can use this 305 engine in my garage with 350 parts. My cousin is giving me a sweet deal on a full engine except the block that he bought for his 350 in his firebird that was totaled. So I was wondering I can use these parts on my 305? And what mods if any have to be done.

no! you wont be able to fit the 350 sized pistons in the 305 block. it's impossible to bore the 305 block big enough to use 350 stuff and still have enough cylinder wall.

Both 305's & 350's have the same 3.48" stroke. So do 267's, for that matter.

Wait was the firebird totaled or the motor totaled, if it's just the car why don't you try and get 350 from your cousin and keep the 350 parts on the 350 and trash/swap the 305?
