I have two of these units in its original design that was not sold to the public. The 100 or less that was sold to the public had half of the adjustments removed per the EPA even the remote was diffrent. For late 80's technology it was well advanced and it did work on stock and modifide engines. I did try it on my stock Hurst and made a huge difference and no I did not pick up an extra 200 HP, it was more of a snappy of the line exceleration. I have a freind with a 86 monte ss stock no mods same results I had. Tried it on freinds 85 442 with a built 461, we had put back the stock carb and distributor, cat, exhaust manifolds and all the emissions sh*t and it worked but it took me 3 months to get it back from him he was having fun with it.
