I'm getting real close to finally firing this thing off. 😀 when I disassembled my 307 I did a poor job documenting my accessory drive. I've got both power steering brackets mounted, with the proper spacers installed. I have the drivers side aluminum alternator bracket mounted.

The lower alternator bracket has me confused. Does it attach to the end exhaust manifold bolt? Was there a stud originally?

Thanks,
Austin

Yes, it attaches to the front bolt on the exhaust manifold. I believe it was a stud and nut.

Been there. In the mid 90's I tore down an 84 Supreme Brougham and had all that stuff in the trunk. 6 months or a year later and I had no clue how to put it back together. Thankfully my best friend had an 85 Delta 88 that provided an example.

I hear ya! I have no excuse, there's a camera in all of our phones for crying out loud. 😀

Yeah when I did it, it was still before the digital picture era.

Maybe it'll be useful for someone else down the road; no stud on the exhaust manifold bolt. I was able to get proper alignment with the bracket mounted against what would have been the manifold flange, using a bolt and not a stud.
