Clearance may be an issue depending on air cleaner choice and intake manifold. You use anything other than stock, even a Performer, you're likely going to need to need to make clearance.

I have an old Toronado intake manifold in the event I ever wanted to try that venture. I figure it would drop the intake enough to provide just enough clearance for a normal air cleaner. Maybe.
