350 chevy hesitation question

the battery ground goes to the body and to the alternator bracket - should this ground the engine or do i need a ground fron the engine to the body or firewall too?

.045 plug gap should be good with a decent ignition system. it bounced from .035 to .045 depending on year. if you've upgraded the coil and module .045 should be perfect.
the battery ground should really be run to the head, with another one from the rear of the intake to the firewall. you can't have too many grounds!!

i have the same carb as you on my 350HO. you have to either put the yellow (im pretty sure its yellow) accelerator pump cam in, which is a little sketchy with the stock accelerator pump because of the extreme travel, or do what i did, and buy the larger accelerator pump kit.
