ok so i bought me a bare block 350 with standard bore and a standard crank i dont have heads pistons cam nothing so it a hard one.... now i was running numbers and to get my engine built and get it to at least 300 hp its gonna take me like 2k 🙁 every mechanic wanna charge alot but im debating on wether i should build that bock or should i get a 350 vortec out of my buddy's tahoe.... A couple guys have told me those vortecs do like 300 hp stock and he was like just buy mine re seal it new gaskets all around put a carb intake put your new edelbrock 1406 and performance distributor and some headers and youll get alot more for a cheaper price what do you guys think??? also wwould my 700r4 transmission bolt on to that vortec block and what all would i need to do the swap or is it just a drop in like any motor???
