I added one to my Cutlass that was an original out of a newer gbody. Only thing is that I am not sure which wire to connect the power wire to. I thought I had it working until I realized it was flashing with the driver's side turn signal! Can anyone tell me which color wire to hook into on a '79 Cutlass?

Tap into the circuit at the plunger switch that's activated by the brake pedal. Back in the 80's many folks installed the parts store aftermarket lights and just tapped into the taillight wires. Seeing them blink with the turn signals was a common sight. I installed a few GM factory accessory lights in early 80's Regals and the included harness ran all the way to the pedal.

Added mine just above the rear window on my 87 Elco. I later tinted the window and huculined all the way around the top. Tinted the red lens and you dont even notice it until I hit the brakes. This one is 12" long, but im gonna do a 24" led board and lens. Sorry for the crappy pic. taken with my old celly..
