MALIBU 4 inch metal cowl hood ?

I currently have a Fiberglass lift off 4 inch hood but I want to change it to a hinged hood. I’m not 100% certain installing a 2inch would clear my intake.

I tried searching for a 4 inch metal cowl hood ... cannot find one.

Does such a hood exist ?

Goodmark does make metal 4" cowls hoods for some cars but no g-bodies. only 2" or the weld on 4" cowl scoop section for you to make your own. i called them about 2 years ago to see if a 4" steel bolt on was in the works and the said no, and probably wont be. so if 4" is a must either go fiberglass from harwood/glasstek/vfn or the weld on steel scoop and tons of body work.

Shouldn't be a problem - I run a SBC W/ a Vic Jr and a 1 inch spacer and a flat hood.
