Some of us would rather douse our cars with gas and light a match then go the LS route. Problem with Mopars is limited decent transmissions, especially the automatic overdrive versions.
Good to know an adapter is available. The 46 RH might live behind a mid 70's 440 stock. Finding a shop that knows them is another thing, only reason anything is available is the Cummins crowd. The bolt on OD has a weak snap ring that fails under power. Supposedly even the lowliest 42 versions can built up to handle serious power. Dodge went from the very reliable 904 and 727 to the RH OD's to the flakey electronic RE's which failed quite often. I remember seeing an overheating Dodge 46RH auto. We ended up pulling the cooler lines, there was a factory check ball in the lines blocking flow. Dodge did some good things and weird stupid things like a check ball in the cooler lines.
